Today we´re TALKING about activities and hobbies that teenagers DO and how they can help you with stress. Let´s start with you, Ben. How old ARE you? I´am 13. And what activities do you usually DO in your free time? Oh, I love sports, so I SPEND a lot of time doing them. My favourite sport is running. You DON´T need any special equipment to do it, just some good running shoes. How often do you GO running? Every day, if I CAN. And I PLAY a lot of tennis, too. I practise two or three TIMES a week during the summer but less in WINTER And how do you THINK these activities help you with stress? Well, when I´m feeling stressed or when I´m having a difficult time at school or with friends or whatever.................I go  running. I TRY to run really fast! I PUT all my frustration and negative emotions into the activity. After that I always FEEL better! So why DO you feel stressed? Oh, problems with friends or too much school work..........that can be hard. Especially when we HAVE exams. And are you FEELING stressed now? No, I´m FEELING great at the moment. Things are GOING really well! I´m GETTING good marks at school this term. And the weather´s good at the moment so I´m DOING lots of running. I MEET my friends every weekend because I don´t HAVE time during the week. Apart from free-time activities, what else CAN reduce stress? Well, I usually TALK to my parents or I TALK to my friends if I´ve got problems or feel stressed. That HELPS too.
